Our focus is to help keep construction safe by supporting and working with our members to identify suitable training for their workforce, then sourcing it locally at subsidised rates.
We also work with our Training Group colleagues around the country for national training course opportunities.
We help our members determine the training they may need, help them with their training plans and
help keep their training on track!

We are a 'Not-for-profit' organisation, so we discuss the charitable causes members' funds will support. It's important that our members have a say in the charities that we support.
We arrange member meetings quarterly to discuss local issues and share knowledge; information and ideas. Our committee members are dedicated to helping members with their extensive knowledge of the industry.
We offer updates on key changes from the CITB and HSE.
We provide mini seminars as part of our group meetings using experts in the field on topics our members feel would be of most benefit to them.
The HSE's primary function is to secure the health, safety and welfare of people at work and protect others from risks to health and safety from work activity.
The HSE do carry out spot checks on site, can visit to inspect a Health & Safety issue raised following a report from the general public. The HSE can on a visit - give advice; issue improvement or prohibition notices and have the power to prosecute.
Training is key to making sure your workforce know how to keep safe not only for themselves but for others they work with and the general public too.
Keep up-to-date with HSE information - it is vital.
As a PCTG member we help you do this.
